LapAds

Draft, last updated October 19, 2026

Privacy policy

This draft lists what LapAds stores about you and which services handle it for us. It was written against the app as it works today. The questions we haven’t settled are listed at the bottom.

What we store and why

Your account
Your email address or phone number, plus your credit balance and its history. We use them to sign you in and to reach you about an order. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we also keep the name and profile picture they share with us.
Designs and uploads
Images and logos you upload, AI images you generate, your saved designs and their print files, and the business details you enter in the walkthrough, so your next design starts filled in.
AI prompts
What you type, the walkthrough details that go into each request, and whether our content filter flagged it. We use prompts to make your images and to look into problems.
Orders and shipping
What you ordered, what you paid, your shipping name and address, and tracking details. Card details go straight to Stripe. We never see your card number.
Hashed network identifiers
A salted hash of your IP address, never the address itself. We use it to rate-limit requests and to cap free credit grants per network.
Usage events
Steps such as finishing the walkthrough or starting checkout, with the page and the time. They show us how LapAds gets used and where it breaks.
Notes you send us
Whatever you write in the team order form, with your name and email, so we can reply.

Who handles it for us

These services process data on our behalf to run LapAds.

Supabase
Our database and sign-in. Your files are stored there too, along with everything else in the list above.
Stripe
Payments. Stripe collects your card details and shipping address at checkout.
OpenAI
Image generation, content screening and smart crop. It receives your prompts with the walkthrough details in them, and a reduced copy of each image you upload so it can be screened and cropped.
Vercel
Hosting. Every request to the site passes through Vercel, including your IP address.
Slack
Internal alerts to our team when something happens on the site, such as a new order or a flagged request. An alert can include your email address or phone number and the text of a prompt.
Meta
Advertising. The Meta Pixel on our pages tells Meta when you view a page, add a skin to your cart, start checkout or complete an order, with the order total. Meta uses it to measure and show our ads, and may connect it to a Facebook or Instagram account.

We don’t sell your personal information.

Cookies

When you sign in, we set a session cookie so you stay signed in between visits.

The Meta Pixel sets its own cookies so Meta can measure our ads. You can limit ad tracking in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings and in your browser.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of the data tied to your account, or ask us to delete your account and that data. To ask, email us at connect@lap-ads.com from the email address on your account, or include the phone number you sign in with, so we can confirm it’s you.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
