The universal 14-inch sheet (11.42 in × 8.19 in) fits inside your lid with 0.59 in to spare on the left and right and 0.16 in at the top and bottom.
Expect a border. Universal sheets are standard sizes, and HP’s 15.6-inch lids are wider than our biggest one, so the sides stay bare. If you’d rather have the whole lid covered, the laptops on the size chart are sized model by model.

Do you make skins for my HP model?
Not model by model yet. HP makes a lot of different lids, and we only list a laptop once we can print it to that model’s exact size. For HP laptops we sell universal 13, 14 and 15-inch sheets: measure your lid, and the size chart tells you which one fits.
Will a universal skin cover my whole HP lid?
Usually not edge to edge. Universal sheets are standard sizes, smaller than most lids, so there’s a border of bare lid around the art. On a 15.6-inch HP that border is wider at the sides. The matcher on this page draws it to scale before you order.
How do I measure my HP laptop lid?
Close the laptop and measure across the back of the lid, edge to edge, then from the hinge to the front edge. Inches or millimeters both work in the matcher.
Can I design my HP skin with AI?
